It's Been A Year

Well, technically it's been more than that, nearly a year and a quarter, since I last updated here. Things did not really go to plan in many aspects of life, and I have found myself seeking new ideas and new opportunities in a new part of the country! It's not far from Lincoln, granted, only an hour away, but it's still a different jurisdiction and a whole new start for us.

We have a beautiful home now - a 100 year old house on a listed site - and we are located not far from some very old and culturally relevant locations! I'm hoping to find some new inspiration around me from what we now have here, although I will admit, it has been a long time coming and I am still not out of the woods.

Many things have changed how I view the world and the people around me. I have found myself wondering if the people I called my friends were truly that, and also whether I was even looking in the right places for support and encouragement. I have a long way to go before I am truly back on my feet, but hopefully, I should gather a foothold soon.

I know that this doesn't really explain much, nor excuse my absence, but I am glad that you are still here. Thank you for sticking by me.
