The "Shades" Project is a long-term photography project based on the figures and creatures from myth and legend in British cultural history.

 

The aim of the project is to produce images that will inspire people to learn more about the ancient culture of our Fair Isle, while at the same time giving those forgotten stories a new lease of life - showing that shadow and horror need not only feed stories of vampires and zombies!
